It needs SMS access — here's why
Your transactions live in bank SMS, so Spenlio asks to read them on the device. Reading never uploads your messages — the SMS Permission Policy covers exactly what that means.

Private by default
Parsing is on-device; sharing unread formats to help Spenlio learn is a separate opt-in, off until you turn it on. If you read one thing, read the Privacy Policy.

Rolling out, region by region
Spenlio is built to work anywhere banks text you about your money — coverage of each bank's format grows as it's learned. When a format isn't readable yet, the app says so plainly, and your feedback lands directly with the person building it.
